After making proper use of the baby wipe, I will tuck it in the dirty diaper prior to sending it to the oblivion of the diaper genie. The other day, I went to tuck the wipe away, and the diaper was gone. Odd. Gavin required some attention, so I turned away from the search to pay attantion to the baby. A moment later I saw the diaper swing into view. The velcro bit stuck to the modile, and the dirty diaper went for a little ride. Its the unexpected things that are fun. Now I need to figure out how to have the mobile drop the diaper in the diaper genie….

When Gavin first arrived home, Crystal was very excited to smell him but alway very gently. She would also follow us around, and howl when the baby cried. One time, she followed us into Gavin’s room. With the baby crying and the dog howling and pushing up against my side, I was exasperated with the whole process. Right about then, Gavin decided to demonstrate how boys are different from girls. He was very respectful of his daddy, but aimed well enough to ‘mark’ crystal, right on top of the head. Now Crystal knows who is in charge, and her behavior has gone back to normal. Good job, Gavin.
